Congrats again Lena, hope the financial planning goes well for you - is it just stuff for settling in and the like, or do you have to pay your own way/find your own house ect when you get there? Sounds like it's going to be an awesome trip for you, but it'll be weird being back and you not being in Sheffers ;_;
The problem is pay day is at the end of the month and I arrive at the start, so I don't get my first salary until a month AFTER I set up there. So while my flights, accommodation, and most of my meals for the first week are pretty much taken care of (between orientation, semi-formal dinners and welcome parties), I still have to pay my way for the other three and a half while I get a bank account set up and an inkan made so I can stamp things in an official capacity (:D) Most JETs say they don't use the full 250,000¥ within that time, but it's good to have a safety net!
*huggles for departing Helena* Abosotively, I get kicked out of LE on the 30th June, so (bar two weeks at the start of July where I'm in France and then Graduating) I'm here for a knees up :)
