Any big summer plans?

Big Sur is astoundingly beautiful, oh, it's just magnificent. My guess is, you would totally love it there!

The length of time is a potential issue, and it's one I'm really looking at seriously.
My worry with some of the government sponsored programs is that while you are there to teach the language, you are not there to learn the country's language, and anecdotal evidence from tutors in the Writing Center who have done similar programs suggests that the teachers are pretty isolated, not only from other teachers, but from their host community as well. (Gillian, Carolyn and Burton have all done these programs, if you've had any of them.)
I'll definitely investigate more, though. The Morocco Program would really appeal to me.

It would be a blast to go - and I would certainly love to, but it would definitely depend on money and time and such. Which I'm sure you know :P
