LMP was 25 August, so that makes me 4w5d now. Still not believing it, and over the last week have been convinced both of ectopic pregnancy and listeriosis. Which of course is ridiculous.

No sickness except the runs, which may well be due to the fact that I started eating WAY too much dairy all of a sudden.

Mostly it feels unreal. I took another test this morning just to be sure I wasn't dreaming.

Yeah, I can relate to the surrealness thing too. Seeing the first sonogram helped, but even still there's a big sense of disbelief.

Are you taking a prenatal vitamin?

Yes on the prenatal vitamin, but it is without softener (though with ginger, to soothe my stomach)

Called the Dr., who wants me to come in (with a sample, ew) tomorrow.

So you've had a sonogram? How far along are you?

Yeah, went in for the first ultrasound last week. Saw and heard the heartbeat, which was a trip. Could see its little humanoid head and body. I think after the miscarriage last time, I was holding off (even though not necessarily consciously) on letting it be real until I had further evidence, if that makes any sense. So, the whole ultrasound experience was more intense (in a good way) than it might have otherwise been. By my calculations I'll be at 10 weeks tomorrow. The ultrasound measurements put me at 3 days earlier, which isn't really significant except that it changes my due date to May 1. How cool is that?

Glad to hear that you're seeing your doctor soon. Hope all goes swimmingly.
