A/N: Re-post. I had post this fic ages ago, and had been ignoring it ever since. I'm trying to finish this fic, so here is the first part. Enjoy? ><
Nino sits in front of the unconscious body, face in his hands, still not believing what had just happened. Or more like he can’t believe what he just did….for the past 24 hours.
He looks up, abandoning his hands to observe the man in front of him. With the faint glow coming from the table lamp, Nino watches the unconscious man, he can’t believe that Ohno is really here, sitting in front of him!
“The unreachable Ohno Satoshi” Nino mutter to himself as his right hand reach up to touch the side of Ohno’s face. His hand stays there for awhile but his thumb couldn’t resist wandering to Ohno’s lips, tracing them.
“So soft…” he breathes out. Ohno’s lips were so inviting that Nino found it hard not to kiss them. He didn’t even realize that his face is so close to Ohno’s; Nino could feel Ohno’s faint breath on his face. His lips just an inch away from Ohno’s.
But Nino stops himself and lets out a sigh.
“Not tonight Ninomiya, the time will come…soon” Nino said, fighting the urge to kiss those lips. He then let go of Ohno’s face and slowly leans backward, away from those lips, but his eyes never leave them.

When Ohno first debuted, all of Nino’s classmates, especially the girls of course, had been talking about him all the time. The girls would giggles and sometimes a chorus of ‘Kyaas’ would broke out from them as they flipped a magazine with Ohno’s face on it. And each time Nino would roll his eyes at their behaviour as he presses the buttons of his Nintendo DS maniacally. He knows who Ohno Satoshi is, he knows that he is a newcomer, a singer, but he knows that only. He doesn’t even bother to know more about Ohno and all of the buzz that surrounds him. He just doesn’t care, because he’s only sixteen years old and the only thing that he is really interested in now is to beat the crap out of the final boss!
Until that one faithful evening that changes everything.
“Tadaima~” Nino greeted as he closed the door behind him.
He just came home from his usual evening practices and he is so damn exhausted. Their coach has been pushing them so hard for the past couple of weeks and it was really pissing him off.
“Maybe I should accidently hit Kato-san’s head when I throw the ball tomorrow…” a small laugh escape from his mouth.
“That would definitely brighten up my day,” Nino thought as one of his signature smile started to appear on his angelic face. And anyone who ever saw that particular smile should know that the person must be up to no good!
Still smiling, Nino walked slowly through the hall with various devious plans in his mind. Nino stops abruptly in the middle of the hall when he passes the living room. He listens carefully to the sounds that are coming from the television. Quickly, he ran into the living room and stood death behind his sister who was sitting on the couch, oblivious to Nino’s presence.
After a moment, Nino clears his throat but his eyes didn’t leave the boy who sang and dances at the same time in the television.
“Who is this guy?” Nino asked curiously. His sister jumped at the sudden question and turned around to see her brother standing behind her, looking intensely at the television.
Totally annoyed by the interruption, she turned back her gaze to the television. “Ohno Satoshi” her answer was simple but it hit Nino like a huge waves.
“EHH?!! This is Ohno Satoshi?? The Ohno Satoshi!? The one that everyone has been talking about at school??” Nino asked in one breath. He looked at his sister for a moment then turned his gaze back to the television. Simply shocked by this new fact.
“Yeah yeah. Now shut up will you?! I’m trying to watch the television!!” she snapped at him.
On regular basis, it wouldn’t take Nino even a second to shot back at her sister with sarcastic comments. But no, not today, he’s too astonished to answer back, too busy talking with himself.
“Sugoi”, Nino whispered, watching Ohno dancing back and forth across the floor, gracefully.
“He dances so effortlessly, his voice is so soothing, and not to mention that he is so ….” he couldn’t utter the right word to complete his sentences, he wanted to say ‘beautiful’ but he felt that that word doesn’t fit Ohno at all.
“He’s more than that!” he grunted.
Nino will never forget it; that was the first time he ‘met’ Ohno. Well, they never officially met each other.
“I will meet him, someday, definitely.” Nino promises himself.
And from that day onward, Nino has been following Ohno’s gracious footsteps throughout his career. Each time Ohno released a new album or single, Nino would definitely buy it. His passion towards music began to develop as well. He would spend hours on his guitar, playing random melodies that came to his mind and scribbled some notes or words onto a piece of paper that lies in front him.
Nino looks up to Ohno. He’s talented. Very talented indeed, from his dance moves up to his flawless singing and to his perfect idol smiles. That smile…every time Ohno flashes that smile of his, Nino felt as if there were an electric current had pass right through him. And it managed to stir a complete commotion inside of Nino’s body.
That odd feeling was not entirely unpleasant at all…at first. Nino always thought that it was some stupid crush, “Everybody must have been through this kind of thing with an idol right?!” Nino mumbled one day when watching one of Ohno’s interviews on the television.
But as time goes by, that feeling overwhelmed him. He was confused.
“Nino, is there something bothering you?” asked Sho one day when they all hanging out at Jun’s house. He looked at Nino over the top of his newspaper.
Nino didn’t answer him. He was pondering hard on something, or someone that had been bothering him for a very, very long time.
Now all three pairs of eyes were staring at Nino, when no answer was received from the younger man.
“Nino-chan?” Aiba, who was sitting on the floor, crawled to him and crouched opposite him. Nino however didn’t react at all. He’s too lost in his own world.
“Earth to Nino~” Aiba called again, waving his hand in front of his face.
“Eh! Nani? What did you say??” Nino blinked up in confusion and looked at the now giggling Aiba.
“Daijobu ka?” Aiba asked, a concerned look now flashed on his face.
Nino released a heavy sigh. “I’m fine, thanks for askin-”
“But you don’t look fine to me…” Aiba cuts him off, brows now creasing. “You ignoring Sho-chan’s question…” a pout was added.
Nino turned to Sho, “Sorry, I didn’t hear you…” he apologized. “What is it that you asked me just now?”
Sho sighed. He then closed his newspaper and put it neatly on the coffee table. “Is there something bothering you Nino?” he repeated the same question, more demanding now.
Jun snorted, closing his book. “Yeah, your body is here, but you’re stupid mind is somewhere else!” Nino glared at Jun and this made Jun glare back and smirk mockingly at him.
“Stop teasing him Jun-kun!” Aiba patted Nino’s back.
“You can tell us Nino, we’re friends right?!” Sho confirmed.
Nino sighs, feeling miserable again. “It-it’s complicated Sho….I-I think I’m losing my mind!”
“What makes you say that? Is it really that bad??”
A few moments of silence passed. Nino bit his lower lip, wondering if he should tell his friends or not.
“Nino?” Sho called out.
Nino sighed.
“I-I think I’m in love…” Nino said softly.
“That’s good news!!” Aiba screamed excitedly and hugged Nino strongly. “Who is she? Do we know her?? Where does she live? I want to meet her! Can I Nino? Can I? Can I?”
“Is that what’s been bothering you all this time??” Sho chuckled.
Jun shook his head and laughed in delight. “You act like a love-sick school girl!! What did that poor girl ever do to you to deserve this??”
The whole room now filled with laughter but then after a minute or so, it died slowly when they caught Nino’s more depressed feature.
“Sorry, we shouldn’t have laughed at you.” Sho apologized. “Being in love is a good thing Nino, so what’s bothering you?”
No answer.
Aiba looked at Nino curiously and asked, “Who are you in love with, Nino?”He could feel Nino’s sudden tense form, and he finally realized what Nino’s problem was.
Nino bit his lower lip. The room became dead silent; everyone was waiting for Nino’s answer.
“I think…that I’m… in love with…Ohno Satoshi…” he stops there. Saying his name somehow made Nino feel like his heart going to explode.
“Ehh?!” was what came out from Sho, Jun sigh loudly then rolled his eyes, and Aiba just smiles.
“Ohno Satoshi?? You mean the Ohno Satoshi?” Sho asked, enunciated on every syllable, apparently still in complete shock.
Nino blushed then nodded.
“You’re in love with Ohno Satoshi…so what?! Every single girl in Japan is “in love” with him!!” Jun said wearily. “That’s not love; it’s just a fan-crush Nino.” He continued.
Nino glanced at Jun but he kept silent. “Jun might be right…” he thought. The painful heartache came and it clearly showed on his face. Nino lowered his head, preventing his friends from seeing his fragile features. Unfortunately, Aiba had caught Nino’s painful look.
Aiba stroked Nino’s back gently, trying to calm him.
“Ne, Nino-chan.” Aiba’s voice suddenly broke into the silent. “What makes you say that? I mean why are you so sure that you in love with him?” he asked, trying to understand.
Nino looked up and stared at Aiba for a moment. Hands now clenched into a hard fist, desperately trying to hold his tears.
A couple of months had passed after Nino had come clean about his ‘problem’. Fortunately, or unfortunately neither Sho nor Jun thinks that it is a huge problem. They both assured Nino that it’s nothing but a crush, and he’ll get over it, soon.
Sadly, he didn’t! It hurts him even more when he thinks about Ohno. He was sitting on the couch, knees against his chest. It became harder for Nino nowadays to watch Ohno on the television. He couldn’t breathe. He closed his eyes tightly, trying to block himself from the pain that starting to engulf him, when his phone suddenly ringing noisily.
“…..Hello” Nino answered lazily.
“Nino-chan, how are you? Are you alright?” Aiba’s voice was on the other line.
“What do you want Aiba?” Nino grunted, totally annoyed. He kept asking him that same question and it started to irritate him.
“Ano, can we meet tomorrow, during lunch, I’ll treat you! Please come! There something I want to…” he paused for a moment. “Uhm, just come ok! Pleeaassse~~~”
Nino let out a heavy sigh, “Sure. At the usual place?”
“Yes!” Aiba answered excitedly. “See you tomorrow then Nino-chan! Oyasumi~” Before the call ended, Nino could hear Aiba’s giggles.
Aiba was waving frantically to catch Nino’s attention when he reached their usual restaurant, “Nino-chan, here, here!”, it worked.
Nino noticed Aiba immediately and walked leisurely to him.
“Nino, you came!” Aiba clapped both his hands in delight.
“Of course I came, you promised me you’ll treat me today right?!” Nino took his seat beside Aiba.
The huge smile on Aiba’s happy face never left during their lunch. He kept giggling to himself.
“Ok, Aiba. What are you up to now hah?” Nino gave him a suspicious look. “You’re up to no good, aren’t you??” his voice sounded threatening.
Aiba giggles, “Am not!”
“Then why are you smiling and giggling?! That certainly proves it! You put something in my food didn’t you??” Nino was starting to look horrified.
“No, no! I assure you; I put nothing in your food. I swear!”
“Then, stop laughing and tell me what’s going on!”
“Ok, ok.” Aiba grabbed his bag and took out a blue envelope. He held it and took a deep breath, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY NINO-CHAN!!” Aiba exclaimed. All of the customers there were staring at them. He then stretched out the blue envelope to Nino’s confused face.
“…..EH!!” Nino frowned. “It’s not my birthday Aiba! My birthday is still a month away…”
“I know that! This is an early birthday present! Here, take it!”
Nino took the blue envelope. He looked back at Aiba who still wearing that huge smile on his face.
“Open it!”said Aiba whose eyes were twinkling with joy.
Nino sighs, and rips the sticky opening of the envelope off. He took out the content of the envelope and looked at it for a brief moment before shifting his gaze back to Aiba.
“A ticket!?”
Aiba nodded, his huge smile now almost touches his ears.
Nino looked again at the ticket, wondering what so special abou-
“EHHH?!!” Nino eyes now widen, in complete shock! “Th-this is…” Nino turned to look at his giggling friend and then looked back at the ticket.
It’s the ticket to Ohno Satoshi’s stage play! And it’s in the VIP section!
“But, how…? Why…? This ticket is impossible to get! And I thought it already sold out weeks ago!”
Aiba however didn’t answer. He stared deeply at Nino who was now ogling the ticket, likes a five-year-old kid with his shiny new toy.
“Are you happy?” Aiba asked, clearly knowing what the answer is.
“Happy??!! I’m thrilled!!” Nino exclaimed. “Thank you so much Aiba!! You’re the best!”
Aiba chuckled, “Yokatta ne~” He’s glad that Nino is smiling again; he wants Nino to be happy.
A few minutes later.
“Ne, Nino… you love him?” Aiba stared at Nino with obvious curiosity.
“Yes” he answered curtly. Hands still holding the ticket, which was now safely tucked in the blue envelope.
Aiba blinked, “I mean, do you really love him?”
“Yes, I really do.” Nino answered softly, strangely turning into a lovesick schoolgirl. He looked at his lap, flushing at his own answer.
“You really need to do something about this matter Nino…” Aiba said confidently. “Or it will drive you insane!”
Nino thought about it for a moment.
“I will…”
