So you've decided to move. This means that I really need to create a dreamwidth account. I wanted to ask this: If I use the exact same username there will be any problems when I will import lj post? Sorry to trouble you but I don't know who to ask...

HIIII! Yes, I was thinking that I should PM you about the move, since SF will be moving too and I would absolutely hate to see you not move to DW with us...

Nope, no problems at all. I used the exact same username. Feel free to PM me if you have any problems! I'll put together a moving to DW guide soonish, but apart from the most obvious 'how to import LJ content to DW', I'm not sure what else I should include...

I've already decide to create an account since look like so many people and communities are moving to DW.
This is my DW https://junaibanina.dreamwidth.org/. I've started the import of my lj. Hope to suceed (if I will have problems I think I will need to trouble you)
I think a guide will be helpful for people that don't know DW as me. I wonder how it works be added back in the community on DW... So there will be anymore posts on lj but only on DW?

For this community, yes. I removed posting access so now you can only post on the DW account...

I guess for each community they will need to work out something different... For this one, membership is open as always.

And sure, free feel to ask if you have any questions. I'm new to DW too but I'll try my best to help!
