Pirate Jun! In tight fitting trousers - yippee.
Aiba is the cuddliest pirate ever. Nino is awesome as always. Ohno, the sharp shooting rigging monkey? Brilliant.
Sho as the upright officer forced to conform by a rotten society who finds freedom with Jun? Fantastic.
Loved the smut at the end it was awesome.

Did you recognise Jun's outfit from Kokoro no Sora? Those garments are just waaay too piraty and I had to include it. Who can resist Pirate Captain Matsumoto in tight jeans? Certainly not me.

I spent a lot of time considering the roles of Aiba, Nino and Ohno, and especially with Ohno, I do believe I got a brilliant idea with him as a sharp shooter (though it was heavily inspired by the series 'Black Sails').

Thank you for the comment, I am pleased you enjoyed this fic so much ^^

Holy shit this fic gave me such mixed emotions!! LOL But in a good way overall. The pain and sadness of what happened to Sho's ship and his crew, it made getting into the story at first a little difficult. I honestly wasn't sure how Sho was going to be able to overcome that, such a huge loss. And feeling the way Jun was toying with him to get what he wanted made me so uncertain about how I should feel about the two of them. But Sho was strong, and careful in his approach to things, and the freedoms Jun gave him made it truly feel like Sho had a genuine choice in the end. I do think, given the loyalty you showed that Aiba and Nino have for Sho, they would have escaped with him if he'd asked no matter how they'd taken to Jun's ship. I think without the free will for Sho the relationship growing between him and Jun might have felt more dark, like Sho had been defeated or broken rather than a more equal giving in for the two of them. Revealing bit by bit that Jun had a choice to just kill Sho as well, that he wasn't entirely ruthless, was ( ... )

Wow! When I saw the header I imagined this would be an interesting story-and it was! I was so happy I decided to read this! I love the way you switch the POVs in the story; it's refreshing to know how everyone was thinking. I love your take on the universe! I had fun imagining the ship, their clothes, and all; you made it not too hard to imagine. I love how you put those two idiots through a lot of things first before they finally realized what's going on and go for their feelings. It feels natural for me and it's so good! But poor Kiko-chan tho :( I hope she'll learn better than to give her heart to a pirate!

Thank you for writing this, anon! I had fun reading! :D

Well, I am also very happy that you decided to read this, thank you <3

I was considering whether to write in only Sho's POV, but decided that in order to convey the complicated emotions of both Sho and Jun, what drives them and what they dream of, I needed to describe things from their individual points of view. They are so very different; have different histories, different dreams, and the story would simply lack those small hints and details if I stuck to only one of them.
Thanks for letting me know how you felt about that, I really do appreciate feedback like this ^^

Ahh, and I am SO happy that you could see all the things I saw in this story: For me, I post my writings because I want the readers to see what I see, hear what I hear, smell what I am imagining in my head as I write, so knowing that I succeeded here makes me incredibly happy ( ... )

Hi !

I've just finished reading your story and let me tell you that it was incredible ! I was totally focused on the story, it felt like I was watching a movie. I didn't even hear the 3 calls I received xD
It was wonderfully well-written and the one of my favorite things to read about is when a man struggle with his feelings. I wish this story would never end !
Jun and Sho were so nicely depicted, I mean, it sounded so like them.
I'm gonna stop here because I could spend the night talking about how much I loved this story xD
Thank you for writing it !

Why hello!
You commented on this in January and I had no way of knowing. I am so sorry for not reacting to this comment sooner, but I don't get any notifications since this was posted anonymously to begin with.
But this was such a pleasant surprise, thank you!

I could probably have made the story longer, had the time allowed it, and I am glad you didn't notice the rush I went through by the end to finish in time.
I am very pleased to know that you think Sho and Jun were accurate, since that, to me, is the most important thing when you describe real people.
I'll have you know that I have considered writing a sequel for a while, but lets see if it ever happens.

Thanks again for leaving me this wonderful comment ^^
