A/N: Writing at work again, la. This is my first time writing Juntoshi, also my first time writing from Ohno POV. Oh, and my first time writing in present tense I'm still not sure how it came out...

Matsumoto Jun loves waking up.
At least, Ohno thinks, that must be it. He wakes up eight or nine times per morning, after all.
No one can accuse Ohno of being the most alert or energetic person in the world. But he wakes up fairly easily, and he's a relatively light sleeper. So when Jun's alarm goes off (Troublemaker today. Jun changes it all the time, but it's always something loud and rhythmic), Ohno is out of bed after only a minute or two, and into the shower. Jun, on the other hand, hits snooze, and keeps hitting snooze for the next hour. Two hours, on a bad day. Ohno has learned the hard way that if he lets Jun go past two hours of hitting the snooze button Bad Things will happen. He's also learned that suggesting to Jun that he should just get up on the first round of the alarm isn't going to work, Jun had just informed him that Ohno had better keep quiet about his morning habits if Ohno wanted to wake up at all the next morning.
Ohno has a fairly relaxed morning routine. Besides for the hour it takes Jun to get out of bed, it takes another hour for him to get ready. Ohno has plenty of time to shower at a leisurely pace, make breakfast, and eat slowly while watching early morning TV programs, or reading a magazine, or staring into space thinking about nothing at all.
Of course their schedules change around all the time. Sometimes one or the other of them has to leave far earlier, but if it's Jun who is leaving first, well that's too bad for Ohno- he gets up anyway. Even if he manages to sleep through the first round or two of Jun's snooze button addiction, after the third time he is irrevocably awake.
Today is one of those days where they have to leave at around the same time. It's chilly and wet out, with lazy, low hanging clouds giving the entire world a dim cast. In theory, a perfect day to stay inside curled up with a snuggly boyfriend and a cup of cocoa, if said snuggly boyfriend ever actually leaves his bed. Unfortunately Ohno doesn't have the leisure to stay inside today, so it's coffee instead of cocoa, and he's frying eggs (which would surprise his other bandmates, who are firmly certian that Ohno has never so much as touched a pan) instead of blueberry pancakes.
He hears Jun shuffle into the kitchen, and greets him by nodding towards the nearly full coffee pot.
"We're almost out of cream," he says amicably, "and it's your turn to buy. It's also your turn to make dinner tonight."
"Mmmm." Jun drapes himself over Ohno's shoulders and buries his face in the back of Ohno's neck. "Don't wanna think about it now. Don't wanna get up today."
"You don't ever want to get up."
"And you don't ever want to stay awake," Jun says in a muffled voice, "so there."
"Good comeback. Go have some coffee now." Ohno half-turns around, which isn't so easy becuase Jun is taller and right now he's hanging on Ohno bonelessly, his glasses askew and his eyes squinting with sleep. Jun is also horny in the mornings, that doesn't help. "You can't kiss me now, you still have morning breath!"
"Do not."
"Do too."
"Do not."
"Do too!"
Jun kisses him anyway. He does have morning breath.
Ohno finally manages to manuver Jun to the kitchen table, and gets a mug of coffee into Jun's hands. Jun curls his fingers around the mug and leans in to inhale the steam. "s'chilly today. Do we really have to go to work?"
"Yes, we do."
"This is all your fault, you know. I could be sleeping in today, it's your fault."
"My fault?" the corners of Ohno's mouth twitch up. He wonders what Jun's morning-logic will come up with this time.
"Yeah, you're the leader. If it wouldn't for you I wouldn't be in Arashi, I'd be a stylist somewehere, designing sweaters or something."
"And I'd be a fisherman. Or I'd have my bakery," Ohno says agreeably, slipping into the chair next to Jun, "Here, I left your eggs only half done, like you said yesterday. You'll eat all of them today, right?"
"Yes mama. And they say Sho mothers us. Someone should send a film crew to our house, they'd know better."
"I don't think that would be such a good idea."
"No, it probably wouldn't." Jun spoons some egg into his mouth and washes it down with coffee. "Mmm, not enough salt."
Ohno hands Jun the saltshaker. "You're going to finish your eggs today. I don't like how thin you've gotten lately."
"Speak for yourself. You're thinner than a rail!" Jun is starting to wake up a little, his eyes fully open, and he's looking Ohno up and down with a vaguely concerned expression.
"Oh, well, you know I have my drama." Ohno takes another bite of his eggs, avoiding Jun's eyes.
Jun keeps watching Ohno, his expression unreadable. "I'll make a deal with you- I eat three meals a day, you eat three meals a day. Will you do that?"
"I have to look much younger you know. I'm thirty, playing a kid isn't easy." Ohno finally lets Jun make eye contact with him. "I'll be fine. Once filming is over I'll fatten right up, just for you, ok?" He starts getting up, his plate mostly empty. "I'm going to go pack my stuff, my manager is picking me up in ten minutes."
Jun catches his arm before Ohno can fully stand up. He looks up at Ohno's face, searching and vulnerable. "Would you have wanted that?"
"Wanted what?" Ohno sits back down, thrown by Jun's sudden seriousness.
"Your fishing boat. Your bakery. Your other life. Would you have wanted that? More than Arashi?"
"Oh." Ohno smiles and takes Jun's hand in both of his own. "You know, I have no way of knowing that. Why does it matter anyway? I'm happy now."
Jun's hand tightens in his. "That's... not exatly what I wanted to hear."
"What did you want to hear, then?"
"That you can't live without us. Without me." Jun draws a slow breath.
Ohno brings Jun's hands to his lips. "That's irrelevant you know," he murmers into Jun's palm, "You're being silly."
"Silly?" It's Jun's turn to look confused, as well as more than a little hurt.
"Arashi shaped me. I wouldn't be the same person at all if it hadn't been for you."
"So you're saying that whatever happens to you is who you become?" Jun's tone is challanging.
Ohno sighs. Sometimes Jun just doesn't get it. "No, I'm saying that no matter what I would have met you guys. There isn't a way that wouldn't have happened. Even if you were a stylist and I was a baker. Becuase stylists still need to eat bread, right?"
Jun's brow is still furrowed. "And you say that I'm weird in the mornings."
"Weird? How is it weird?"
"How would you know that we'd still meet, if things turned out differently?"
"We just would. How could we not meet?"
"By... not meeting."
Ohno laughs lightly, "You're missing something obvious though." He shifts out of his seat and settles into Jun's lap, bringing his face close to Jun's. "Jun, there isn't a scenario, any scenario, where we don't meet," he explains, "The universe doesn't work like that. You and I, also Aiba and Nino and Sho, we all end up together, every time, in every possibility for always. There's no option that we don't."
"Are you sure?" Jun still isn't satisfied.
"Of course I'm sure. How else could Arashi have happened? We're the least likely combination for a pop group there is. Just the fact that we are together is proof that no matter how strange things get, we'll always end up as a group."
Jun buries his face in Ohno's neck once more and clings to him tightly. After a while Ohno pushes gently but firmly on Jun's shoulders, disengaging. "I really do have to leave, you know." He leans in and kisses Jun slowly.
"And you still have morning breath."

So what do you think? Did I get this pairing right?
