Camera flashes flickered at an unbelievable speed as reporters clapped for the happy event. All eyes were on two men, standing on a stage in the front of the conference room, showing their proud smile to the public. The taller, slender man in a police costume held a wide eyed cat in one arm, while the other was loosely swung around a slightly smaller preppy-looking man wearing a red cardigan, black necktie, and black rimmed glasses who held a heavy looking key in one hand.

“Aiba-san, how do you feel about both dramas Mikeneko Holmes and Kagi no Kakatta Heya ending?” one reporter shouted, pointing his small voice recorder towards the two men who sat down for the interview. “I’m happy that the two ended successfully and without any problems but I’m also sad that there’s no more shooting with Shushu here,” Aiba paused and glanced at the cat, who was now falling asleep in his arms, “it’s only the last few days of shooting that I got to really communicate with Shushu,” Aiba explained with a somewhat lonely smile. “So it’s true that you can communicate with animals!?” another reporter asked, causing the animal lover to chuckle lightly. “What do you mean it’s true? I’ve always talked to animals…Right, Shushu?” Aiba asked while lightly shaking the cat, only to be lightly bitten. “Ow!” Aiba exclaimed, and a ripple of laughter came from the crowd of reporters.

“Ohno-san, do you plan to do anything together to celebrate the successful finish of the dramas?” one of the reporters in the front row asked, letting the silent man on stage have a chance to talk. “We already went to eat together,” Ohno started, “I was forced to go to yakiniku with Aiba-chan.” Another wave of laughter filled the room while Aiba frantically tried to deny his “forceful” invitation for dinner. “We’re planning on going fishing together, ne?” Aiba added, “Riida couldn’t go fishing during shooting, so everytime I see him he tells me he needs to go fishing as soon as the dramas over!” Aiba joked and the older laughed at the somewhat true story.

After a few more rounds of questions regarding their drama and their close friendship, the press conference finally came to a close. The two band members left the stage together while the reporters applauded for them once more for their hard work and their unbelievably strong friendship. Or so it seemed.

As soon as the two men were off stage, Aiba’s face changed from the miracle-boy-sunshine smile to a straight poker face and Ohno’s face changed from his usual gentle smile to a Maou-glare. “Thanks Aiba, now everyone’s going to think I went fishing with you.” The latter stopped walking and glared at the older. “What? I was just keeping our ‘Arashi is the most intimate group in the whole wide world’ image,” Aiba spat back, “what did you want me to say? ‘Yes I never want to see this ugly tanned face ever again in my entire life but sadly we’re stuck in the same group and Johnny-san doesn’t allow group breakups that easily so I guess I’ll suck it up and pretend we’re best friends,” Aiba mocked in a sarcastic voice while making faces, causing the latter to glare back; if looks could kill, both men would be instantaneously on the floor, dead. Just as the two started to fight in the middle of the hallway, the other three band members came jogging in, trying to stop the argument from getting louder. “Baka! Not here!” Nino hissed at the two while dragging them off to their backstage room. After Jun made sure nobody was in their room and the door was closed and locked, Nino let go of the angry looking men and punched them both on the shoulder. “I know you two hate each other but no need to let the public know that,” Nino sighed as he plopped down on the nearest sofa. “It’s his fault!” Aiba pouted as he pointed towards the Maou-Enomoto, who was sitting down next to Nino with a glare deadlier than Jun’s. Sho walked over and forcefully sat the younger down on the sofa opposite from his enemy, trying to calm him down. Jun sighed as he sat in the armchair between the two sofas, like a judge ready to hear the complaints from both sides.

“Can’t we…try to be a peaceful group?” Sho suggested quietly, and the two frustrated men immediately answered with a loud “NO!” Ohno glared at Aiba, and then at Sho for the unbelievable statement, “I can’t even imagine being friendly with a baka like this one!” he exclaimed, “he makes the world look baka just by being in it!” Aiba’s eyes were now nothing like what fans see on TV but something much more…dangerous. “Oh so you’re calling ME baka? Who’s the one who got tanned to the point we all had to come up with some sort of story for you? Who’s the one that couldn’t wake up in the morning because you were too tired from fishing? Who’s the one that got drunk in the middle of the night and was accused of drug trafficking?” Aiba spat back at an unbelievable speed, “and you’re calling me a baka just because I pretended we were good friends and because I tried to make a press conference interesting. A TRUE BAKA DOESN’T KNOW HE IS ONE.” Ohno stood up and picked up his belongings while heading to the door. Just before leaving, he turned around to face the younger, “You don’t realize you are one do you? Who’s a true baka again?” he smirked and left the room with a “call me” signal to Nino. Aiba too picked up his tote bag and left the room to change clothes, with Sho following closely behind with a worried expression.

“I wonder what fans will say if they figured out where I get all my comebacks from,” Nino muttered with a tired chuckle while sinking down into the sofa. “We’ll lose all our fans if they figured Aiba spits out poison like a machine gun and they hate the guts out of each other,” Jun joked along. “Before we lose our fans I’ll lose my job!” Nino laughed at the unbelievable situation their group was in.

After a moment of silence, “You think Arashi is gonna work out OK?” Nino asked absentmindedly, as if he was asking the air. “As long as they don’t kill each other I think we’ll survive,” Jun answered half-heartedly.

“J, that’s not funny,” Nino said in a flat tone, “you weren’t there when Ohno tried to bring a knife to rehearsal for self-defense.”

A/N: random fic that I felt like writing after watching the last ep of kagiheya XD
I’m not into trying to make arashi look like criminals and stuff like that…but idk…I might make this a series XD “What if Arashi…” series hahaha…
This wasn’t the best plot…but I started writing it so why not finish it XD

Anyways, I’m in Japan right now and I’ll be going to summer school and visiting universities and working out to get into some sort of humanly form, so I don’t really have internet access or time to write fics. It’s also my senior year in high school next year so who knows how many hours of free-time school is going to give me…Therefore, it’s going to take a while if not forever for me to finish the multi-chap fics I’m writing BUT DON’T WORRY IM NOT ABANDONING THEM.
