THANK YOU for translating this kind of article. It's interesting to see their reason.

I can't help but being agree with the fall rating of YowaKate drama. And YES, totally agree to the mistake of storyline. The casts are great, the theme is ambitious a youth like, but the plot, the story line is UGH!!!!

"There are too many unnecessary and unneeded stories."
If they keep up with this kind of story line for the next 8/7 episodes, I will just keep crossing both my hands and feet fingers for the luck of it!

Well, I agree with yowakute comment : "There are too many unnecessary and unneeded stories."
that's why the slow pace storyline..
But I somehow get to love it in every episodes :)

For Shinigami-kun, I just watched the first episodes and I like it ^^

For Sho's movie, actually I haven't watched the first one but I do watch the second one. I think it's a great movie and if I watched it alone I'm gonna cry at the climax xD

i watched first ep of yowakate and got bored in the middle--; yowakate was dorama that i anticipated the most since it's neen's dorama and so many ikemens in it,
shinigamikun is surprisingly better than yowakate,i am not biased here just becoz ochan is my ichiban

Thanks for translating and sharing this!
Regarding the drop in ratings of their tv-shows and dramas, sometimes I get the feeling that Arashi as a group and the individual members are overly exposed on tv. I'm living in Germany, thousand of miles away and even I sometimes get tired keeping up with all their appearances ;-) The thing is, if you don't have the time to watch a drama or music-appearance live, you just record and be done with it, cause then you can watch it anytime later, no big deal, I think most fans might not feel the exact and absolute need to see everything when it's aired. And Arashi foremost is a music-group, I guess that's the main thing people like about them and you just can't save limited edition singles or concert-tickets for "later"! (As much as I wish I could ;____;)

I do think sales number, rating are really important for Arashi, JE... it proves a lot of think, how good how bad for a project, CD, or TV show. It doesn't matter for us- Arashi fan because we are not just happy watching any show because of its high rating.
In my view of point, Arashi's single release now is poor, about PV shooting, and version ^^.
