Everyone Wants a Piece of Me!

It's true. I am in high demand. Wild, I know, right! I've got parties to go to, people to see, and money to hand out to whoever wants it! Like my mom, who needed $600 to pay bills. Normally I'd say "you're joking, right?" but that's the funny thing about living with your parents, if they don't pay bills it's going to fuck you over anyways ( Read more... )

Life is full of distractions. I only get to program for myself on genuine vacations these days, and I don't work nearly as many hours as you do. My advice-- don't get additional pets. They're the biggest sink of unexpected time you can imagine without seeming like it.

Hey! they're not that bad! (says the girl who works out of the house)

Your mom vaguely reminds me of my mom now. I keep waiting for the phone call but so far i've only gotten a) pay the cell phone bill and b) pay my loans for your college.

And on the writing journals mine is ancientglade right now. though i haven't written much there. but when i do i try to post to friends only. i'm planning on going on a vampire kick shortly though so that may not be interesting. that or another star wars kick.

anyways, good luck with the rents. they sure can be a challenge.

Jesus fuck ass balls shit Christ.

While I was back with my parents, I only paid rent. I paid for everything else of my own (car, insurance, phone, share o' internetz), but my dad was between jobs, my mom was struggling through nursing school, my two brothers were both at college, and there were still two children to raise. I paid the rent on time, mind you, but that was it. When they needed help with money, they asked their parents for a loan.

If you're confident that you'll get it back, what the Hell, it can be a trip to have those who raised you be indebted to you for a change. If not, tell them you can't afford it. There's always something they can do to help make ends meet, they may just not want to do it.

On a positive note, still reading crashofthunder, still not commenting. Maybe I should swallow my awkwardness and just give some words of support. OK, probably.

Oh, yeah, congratulations on the active social calendar. I mean, accommodating other people can be a pain, but c'mon... it's good to be popular at least on some level, right? Just saying, look on the bright side, and congratulations for having that bright side.
