Sort of. I didn't get rid of the small car in the process. I'll be driving it tomorrow since it's the one with the snow tires. Really wasn't worth it to trade it in-- it's not worth a whole lot, but it does make autocross notably cheaper-- autocross tires for the Mustang are $300 a corner (and I don't own a set of wheels to mount them on), I usually pay around half that for autocross tires for the Miata which last longer (car's lighter) and I already own the wheels. :)
Plus I've considered some track days, and the Miata's already got an SCCA-compliant roll bar. And, as the saying goes, if you can't afford to push it off a cliff, you can't afford to race it. And I can much more easily afford to push the Miata off a cliff. :)
Yeah, I think Amy's a little crazy-- three hours each time I buy a car is probably going to be a lot more annoying than simply dealing with probate if I keel over. :) Or at least it is if I'm doing it right.
