Organization is for geeks.... Party is for Pros

Jul 20, 2009 23:37

Well, nothing good ever happens after two a.m..
And when you let yourself be persuaded to actually celebrate your 20th birthday. *glares at boyfriend*
It should have been said that organising, while not my worst feature, is nothing I like to do much. (Hence the reason why Kira mostly had to organise the meetings... sry v___v)
So I got my ass up and pulled two friends in celebrate our birthdays. We got ourselves a location, a guest list, a dresscode... everything plannend out.  And then I hear that Tico Tico in celebrating his birthday on the very same evening about 100 metres down the street. .... ..... ..... I was told that I could either go party with 'that friend of yours or stay with us, but we won't put the parties together'. Can't adjourn it either because the invitations are out and the other two don't have time on any other acceptable weekend. -.-
DAMN it.... Tico just wrote me that I dump the others and party with him, and I'm actually tempted to - same location as New Year's Eve, and that was great. Haven't seen the Capoeira bunch for ages, as it seems, and I would really love to hang with them some time soon. I feel like I have neglected both the sport and the people lots due to work and various birthday parties...

Well, we'll see how that won't work out. Will be 20 in a few days, and I badly want to stay 19 - young, driver's license, splatter, porn(haha-.-), studying. .... 20 makes me feel oooold. Now I know you lots want to hit me, but you don't look old, really!!  *innocent smile*
Makes me think what I have accomplished so far in this year, along as remembering my last bday. All in all, I'd say that the year was great, a lot changed, most to the better, and this birthda ywill definitely be better than the last one when it comes to the circumstances - it's rather hard to beat getting up at 6 to go to the internship, then going to work and finally geting something to drink at about eleven to celebrate one's birthday for approximately an hour on that day. But it was quite fun how we got the upper room of the cocktail bar all to ourselves and made Bahman and Lucas dance on the table... or how I spent hours talking to Thomas about whimsical things that were still fun... or how I definitely said quite embarassing things and later pretended to have forgtotten them... all in all, I don't remember much thanks to that Mojito (THAT I remember) but the things I remember were fun.

Let's see what this year brings ^^
After all, it'll most probably be the last day of regular studying for this semester.

FInally saw Magnus today - I think I like him, they are almost disgustingly cute (You heard that, Ina!) and me and P. behave like an old, stern and shy couple ext to them, but still *grinning madly* it was fun ^^

holiday, rl, party
