Ughhh why do people do that, it's so retarded. And it's always the same stupid search engines or people in goofy, obscure countries nobody cares about. Don't they have anything better to do?

And FYI, Go Daddy attempts to renew the domain 3 times they tell you each time they attempt. On that third time, that's when the domain name is deleted from the account. Honestly, you're lucky someone else wasn't able to snag it in a backorder. (I have like.. 20 domains)

PS: use code chill7 for a 7.49 domain name :D (I don't know when that code expires but I just used it)

Right.
I had another domain I actually let expire by choice.
What happened with this one was I lost access to the e-mail address it was associated with. I'd changed almost everything I could remember that had that e-mail, but not that particular site. So I never received the e-mails warning me of the domain expiring. I -thought- I had auto renew on, but apparently not.

If someone else had snagged it, it wouldn't have been that big of a deal really. My husband and I still owned two domains at the time and I could have used either of the existing ones. It was just a matter of wanting to get back my original domain.
