..ages ago but since this is the first day of 2008 i thought i'd finally 'fill them out'.

Coldplay: one of the best britpop bands alive. they really have the best melodies and even though there are (arguably) better bands, they still make beautiful music.
Ewan mcgregor: who DOESN'T like him?? like.. for real.. ok i first saw him in Moulin Rouge and he looked so cute. since then i've seen most of his films (admittedly, he doesn't look too cute in some of them) but he is talented in more ways than one and that rocks.
Joan of Arcadia: i mainly like the show because of amber tamblyn. other than that, i don't know =)
Maxïmo Park: COME ON? why i like them?? well.. the music ROCKS (just look at my last.fm) also there's this "tiny" reason *wink*
Rain: because when it's nice and during the summer, then it's ok. also, it's just water and who doesn't like water?
Star Trek: the original series with captain kirk and spock and scotty and the cardboard space ship. oh. my. god. why? because it is the geekiest thing on the planet but at the same time it's so cool, because it it geeky. also, next year there will be a movie which is all kinds of awesome.
We Are Scientists: it's so hard to explain why i like bands because they make music and if i say the music ROCKS or that they have terrific beats then it doesn't feel like i'm doing them justice. so i'm just going to leave it at that and tell you to listen to them to see for yourself.
