Apparently the Uber Goth and "Goofy Artist" Tim Burton has remade Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory under the original title of the book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory which is apparently not as "dark" as the '71 classic film
Um... I saw the trailer for it tonight and It is going to take far more than a spoon full of sugar for me to get that medicine down... It looks dark and Creepy Should be great...
Johnny Depp's appearance the most Bizarre look I have seen him create... Picture Edward Scissorhands Then give him a Jennifer Aniston cut and some Tony Robins style Choppers Wearing the infamous Hat from the Cat in the Hat.............. I'm still mad a Burton that Superman Lives didn't get made. Not that the he really has the right to direct it. He has never read a comic. (Which of course explains Batman Returns Not that Batman Forever or Batman and Robin were much better) Kevin Smith is right "Fuck Tim Burton" and the end to Planet of the Apes (not to dis Chasing Dogma or J&SB Strike Back) I love most of Burton's Films but someone should have slapped him for that one... at least they aren't remaking the sequels
Speaking of Sequels The Ring two??? Why??? There is no reason for that... None at all... Leave it alone... put it back in the box and forget about it ... Why does Hollywood insist on making a sequel to a sub-par horror flick ... The movie is only really frightening if you get a phone call after it (Thank You Chris aka Kain) No reason for that... Why do they insist on making crap when Indie film after Indie film after Indie film outdoes Hollywood films? Like Ray that was an Indie film when are they going to learn that the "FORMULA FILMS" are just a formula for craptastic vomit inducing rancid hippo meat movies...
