I have a question about passing through the scanners - not with Delirium, but with Midna. She has her Fused Shadows with her, which she wouldn't view as a weapon so much as an ancient artifact of her people. They do however have an incredibly destructive power, and as such she usually hides them away. My question is whether or not they would be detected as weapons, or even detected at all, as she hides them?

No, it's quite alright, we're more than happy to research!

Midna's relics would be weakened by Central's computer. Possibly even by the atmosphere and make-up of Arcadia itself... and the fact that it's far removed from Hyrule and the Land of Twilight.

That is to say the power will be fractional. Not nearly as powerful as it was in the game :3. But not totally useless, either.

Haha, yeah I didn't think that they would be nearly as powerful as they were in the game. I mean, no tenticle/hair monsters when used xD;;

Thanks though! I just wasn't sure that Midna would think of them as weapons - and I don't really want her ejected into the sun. I imagine she wouldn't like that either ^^

Midna, being a creature of uh... little sunlight, would definitely not like being ejected into the sun. I agree.

Will Kino be able to retreive her weapons if she's leaving the city? She's going to feel...... very naked without her guns or knives.
(To tell the truth I feel kinda off about having a character who's weapons are so much a part of her persona have them be unavailable to her.)

Sheik will be naked once he removes himself of all the knife holsters and such.

But seconding the question as to whether weapons can at any time be recollected for whatever reasoning. Or the peanut butter, you absolutely beastly rule makers.

I take it the Remnants and Sephiroth will still have their weapons? Or will they be forced to stoop to these rules also?

Re: remnants - It depends. The remnants don't arrive through normal channels, and they may well not listen to Central. It'd be like evading customs. It can be done, especially if you land elsewhere and bike into the city :D

(I really need to grab El to talk about the parameters of weapon confiscation properly. I'm currently wondering if there is a possibility that Kino could keep her main gun if she would surrender her bullets and additional weapons. This is the present case with Raidou - though I don't know if El planned to have Raidou's gun removed, also. If that's the case, swords could keep their hilts if the blades were taken, as well. There's also things like alchemy that I'm wondering about if anyone picks up an FMA character

*has come with the dreaded FMA character* Will Kimbley's tattoos be recognized as weapons? He can't exactly give them up and having the scanner destroy them could be really painful/crippling.

You're a-okay. :D El's sort of clarified the intention behind the banned weapons, and it's certainly not for it to remain permanent. Central wouldn't even detect them.
