Sekhmet is a very complicated deity. Destruction and life, goddess of war and disease but also the patron of doctors and physicians. Avenging goddess and deity whom destroys evil. Carnage and protection. Defender of the pharaoh and the cosmic order. Her very name means strength, power, and violence. A lot of duality in her.
