Thank you, Brenda. Yes, I did get your e-mail. I know it'll get easier. Today I've allowed myself to feel the pain and just get it out but I know time will heal the wounds.
Thanks, Laura. Basically, age is creeping up on her. The vet had said she was developing arthritis awhile back. It's obvious when watching her that she's got problems with her hips which purebred Samoyeds are very prone to. She looses her footing very easily on vinyl flooring, stands funny to keep her balance and has a hard time getting up or using steps anymore. She also isn't eating well, sleeps a lot and often can't hold her bladder thru the night.
It was tough last night cuz she was super perky when I got there which made me say, "Why are you doing this???". She licked me to death and was bouncing and wagging her tail but she got tired pretty quick and spent most of the time I was there sleeping. It was also obvious that she is in pain. Ugh.
