Of course Duceppe lacks a platform! He's leader of the BLOC. They're a one issue party, and that one issue is separation. They never win seats outside of Quebec; they are ridiculous.

Though the country won't go to hell no matter which party "wins"... in the end it's the MPs who get to quash whatever stupid ideas they have, right?

Wrong. It's what's called voting along party lines. If the leader doesn't call a free vote, the MPs have to vote exactly as they're told. Whatever Harper wants to do he can do if he gets a majority government. We're doomed. We're going to get a Tory/Bloc coalition government; we're doomed!

Stop trying to sell your party!

I think the notwithstanding clause was a dumb idea... what the hell do we have the charter of rights and freedoms for? so we can randomly decide NOT to enforce it? Because that makes so much sense. feh.
