Better than scholarships: state, federal and school grants. I haven't been applying for scholarships because, unless it's one giant scholarship so that I don't have to worry about money ever, they're counter productive to my financial aid. When calculating financial need, they include they money you get from scholarships into what you've made for the year. They don't do that with grants and grants are money you don't have to pay back. Essentially, they're paying me to go to school. How cool is that?
