I hope I'm not the only sane person in the Ship Wars. I'm on team Chekov/Sulu, but that doesn't mean that I don't like other pairings. None is better than any other one, but we're just competing for screaming the loudest that we're awesome. Hopefully this won't be a bloodbath because I'll come over and hide with the ones that aren't in the Ship Wars. I'm not one to say that anybody's else's pairing is stupid or bad or not as good, it's just not my cup of tea. Stuff that isn't canon is just our indulgences and no reason to have a wank fest. So I'll be one of the few that won't get bitchy about it. This is just for fun.

Right, I know this is the intent, and I think that if any fandom could keep something like this in good fun, it's the STXI one.

If it gets crazy, we'll just have to make our own little community of love!

Haha, I'm actually realllly glad you're captaining Team Chulu, because I know you're not going to get batshit.

Also, I generally don't read Chulu, but your stuff makes me see it more than most other people's. So I'm psyched to read what your team comes up with!

Lol, kidding. Yeah, I don't really get those rabid shippers, and I don't think I've ever met any of them. It would be ridiculous to expect actual, solid evidence of a slash ship. The fantasy is better anyway, because the reality can easily be taken away by the powers that be.

I'm just glad that I know and trust some of the captains not to be total whackaloons! I'll be waving from the sidelines, and it's best to imagine me in a lounge chair with a pair of huge sunglasses, a floppy sunhat, and a drink in my hand.

Also, I'm writing. Really. I've got two half-done kink meme fills that are just crawling along because I can't write pr0nz in my parents' house oooooo...any chance anything will be posted this month? Hell, there's next to no chance of there being more than epic bromances between Kirk, Bones, and Spock! Idk...even my dad was like 0_o during Spock!Prime's speech about the epic bromance of Kirk/Spock and he doesn't at all know the kind of stuff I read!
