I think mine lay dormant for my college career. Which did nothing to help my standing with my peers there, as I wanted little to do with them and them with me, but now I have so much to do and so little time to do it all in. D:
D'awww must be a sort of breedish thing (though Lily's a Bichon. Close enough). She's all tuckered out now, and is conked out on my bed. I am her person now, it seems. (We think she likes that I don't move much, I just sit there with my computer and my DS/games/books, so she never has to worry about being left behind somewhere.)
It is! Mom told me the day after she came home (after the anesthesia completely wore off) she put Lily on my bed and Lily walked up to my head and stared at my face, like she was willing me to wake up and play with her. Makes the whole family question the vet's belief that she's got less than a year left in her.

Happy clean teeth doggy! My mom's maltese was always really energetic after a teeth-cleaning as well.
