I've traversed that patch of asphalt between the friendly confines of Austin, TX and the even friendlier ones here in Houston for the latest time. The living room is quiet, there's a dog asleep a few feet away and the only thing you can hear are my clothes tumbling in the dryer just down the hall...service compliments of mom

We need to coordinate better. I was in Houston all weekend; downtown even. At the very least we could have met for pie and people watching at the House of Pies. I find that I know every street sign, curve, and business between here and Sugar Land at this point in my life. I've probably made that drive about 100 times.

Yeah, missed opportunity indeed. I like visiting HOP at least once while I'm in town.
