Maybe movies are like people. Some of them are inspiring, some are trashy, most have some redeeming value, and all have a story to tell. Whether the two of you hit it off seems like it depends a whole lot on how the two of you met, who else was around, and how things went from there.

When I was in Japan, I remember seeing Mission Impossible II in the theater and loving it. I saw it again last year and was ashamed that I had ever liked it. I simply cannot relate to the Japan me that must have been pretty desperate for some cinematic action. What was I thinking?

I have girlfriends/hook ups in the past about whom I feel the same exact way.
