Moreover, the player I was playing was literally insane, and was thus oblivious to the effect that his antics had on Arc's character. It was very taxing for me as a player, because I had to continue to roleplay my insane character who aggravated Arc's character to no end, where as a person I was offended and incredibly annoyed by how fricking anal Arc's character was.

that sounds like it would have been a great campaign to be in. I always loved it when people really got into character and played well. usually ended up giving extra xp to the people who had good character and kept metagaming out of the story.

and yes I still play. and am trying to get a group back together. everyone around here has wonky work schedules (at least those with jobs.) which keeps playing to a minimum.

...er, sorry I meant our awesome new pad. Yeah. No doom... Maybe. Possibly. Well, the possibility is there but we make no affadavit of there being YOUR DOOM for certain. It probably depends on your capacity for alcohol.
