China will want a stabilized Pakistan. The Chinese built the mega-port at Gwadar (in what is basically a desert) -- only 1500km from Western China, whereas the closest Chinese port is 3500km. China's "String of Pearls" system of foreign ports and air-bases has seemed to arrive free of foreign policy hooks and caveats, unlike American aid. But Chin has everything to gain from a stabilized Pakistan.

too continue the the Paradox analagy.. China has also been spaming east africa like mad with merchants and settlers and really competing for the Indian Ocean Centre of Trade. there for i agree with you doug. US relations will prolly be around -100 with China at around +100...

At -150 as Pakistan i would start feeding money into Samali Pirates and really looking to plan an invasion of Austrailia... :) hmm prolly a good thing im not Dictator for Life in Pakistan!! ..lol
