At some point, I managed to convince myself that I had disposable income...and while I suppose it is somewhat true, the amount left over after each paycheck is really not anything to get excited about. And really, it seems silly to call it "disposable income" because in reality I should probably be giving it all to credit cards and savings because

That's entirely up to you (don't want you to use up vacation that you were maybe saving for the wedding), but I suppose that would be nifty since it would possibly mean having something at the Christmas party.
