Hurricane Ike can't make up his mind - is he going to hit Browntown or is he going to hit H-town? Andy told me yesterday that the school was contemplating having all the athletic teams go to Austin with them. Gah. If that's the case, I sure hope they don't ask me to drive. I would be PISSED

Oh..that sounds awesome. You could also add something about the writers of fanfic who spent 2 and half years writing a fanfic novel instead of their own original stuff!!! Ahem. And the deadly, habit-forming nature of the craft.
It's addicting, I swear. I had to wean myself off of it with some serious contemplation about the nature of time, and how better it could be spent; the making of parental units proud; how money is earned; and how the instant gratification of reviews is not a substitute for taking your mother to Austria with an advance check from a publisher. :P

And as for my crush, I suppose it's not a real crush. He's like 46 or something and married, but he's so darn smart and cute (and not even really that cute. It's definitely his personality). I took a lot of classes with him when I was doing my undergrad stuff. He's a genius when it comes to Linguistics and the history of languages.
