It's quiet...

Something feels odd tonight. Full moon, light dusting of snow on the ground, a mist/fog overhanging everything, and it is dead fucking quiet. Almost no sound whatsoever. Even at this time of night, there should be a distant car or something. It's disconcerting. That and the same cat that I saw on the side of the road twice and nearly hit once.
