This guy was a jerk, an obnoxious little bastard. It was the worst date in her history of dates. Worst than the guy with the gun fetish, or the one who wanted her to meet his family on their first date.

-"Barman, another one!"

Oh the taste of bourbon sliding in her throat and stomach, it was sweet oblivion. She loved to observe her glass lovingly, then degust the dark liquid like it was her last shot.

-"Barman, another one!"

The world had taken a soft blurry golden tint. It was nice. Something was off.

-"Hey, I said, another one barman!"

-"I don't think it would be reasonable to continue, Caitlin."

Wow, she was totally wasted. She was hearing voices. Normally it was Gibbs' voice.

-"I paid the nice barman, I'll take you home now."

Okay, now it was really bad. This dream only happened when she was asleep, and she was pretty sure she was not. But if it was her fantasy, his next move would be to take her to one of the finest palace in Washington.

-"I don't think so, but it could be a good idea for next time."

What the hell!!! Kate looked suddenly behind her. Bad idea. The furniture's not supposed to spin like that.

-"You shouldn't be here, why...what...when..."

-"Is there a question at the end of your phrase?"

-"Not funny. You shouldn't be here. Big bad Mossad agents should be anywhere but here."

-"I got the idea the first time Caitlin, can we go now?"

Great, absolutely fucking great. She escapes from the date from Hell to fall right on Ari Haswari, Gibbs’ number one nemesis. Oh it was really a wonderful night.

-"I can go back to my place on my own, thank you very much."

She tried to get up once, twice, on the third she finally looked at him. The smug bastard was smirking, she hated that guy. Traitorous body, she hated it too.

-"Too bad, I like it very much."

She should try to stop thinking out loud too.

The walk to his car had been difficult, she couldn’t take two steps without his help. At least he didn’t try to start a discussion before they were on the road. Of course he had to ask why she was drunk. Awww come on, with all the subjects possible.

-"He was a slob, a perverted slob. I spent the whole dinner trying to get his hands off my legs. He started to convince me to go home with him. The food was awful, he was a total idiot, and when I said I didn’t want to see him ever again, he insulted me in the middle of the restaurant. Happy now?"

-"I was only curious."

She was feeling sooo tired, her eyelids were sooo heavy.

***********

When Caitlin Todd woke up this Sunday morning, she was feeling like crap. And she was in her bed. She didn’t remember going to bed. In fact, she didn’t remember going home. She turned on her side to look at her clock. What the...There wasn’t a glass when she left yesterday. And no paper.

Caitlin,

I thought you’d like this small token of affection. Water and aspirin from your pharmacy. I’ll take you to the Hotel Rouge next time I’m in Washington.

A.

She loved this man.
