Origins 2010

As many of you know, I meandered off to Origins the gaming convention in Ohio a few weeks ago. Partly because it's a life-update that might be fun, and partly because I think I ought to keep track of these things, this is my con writeup.

You should totally show me some of the pyramid games. Isn't Zendo one of those, originally? (I've only played it with numbers on a blackboard as a LARP mechanic, but it's fun.)

Zendo is one of the pyramid games that I *don't* know. (There are probably others, but many of them seem easy to learn. Zendo seems complicated.)

I can totally teach you one over lunch, if you'd want to do lunch with me? Or some other time as well. We should figure something out =)

The LARP version of Zendo was pretty simple rules-wise, though it takes some thought to do well at. I don't know how much it differs from the official version.

I'm out of town at a wedding Thursday and Friday; want to do lunch Wednesday?

You should also figure out if you want to come to the Indigo Girls concert on the 30th or not at some point.
