I can't speak for all professions, but us IT people definitely have "no magic" days. (I have found that one in three can be fixed with suitable application of caffeine and making everyone else STFU, but the other two are just hopeless.) Having just gotten off the Conference Call Of Doom, I'm wondering whether today is inextricably one of those days or not.

Thanks for the comic, though. [grin] It cheered me up greatly. Next time I'm stuck I'll try throwing pencils at the phone stand.

I didn't know you could actually do this until I was trying to make tea the other day and forgot all about it the instant I put the pot of water on. Came back 45 minutes later having succeeded in actually burning water. It was a triumph of a sort...

Hey, you can say whatever you want about "E", but there is nothing wrong with the Surreal Life. Especially with darling CC and our girl Alexis up in 'nere, ok?
