L'expérience de positivity

Right now I'm sitting at my desk in my pajamas, wrapped in my robe. I have smeared lavender and ylang ylang "stress relief" cream on my hands and face and I have taken half a Xanax. I have come to the conclusion that I am fried and as such, I am not even touching homework tonight. Whatever I got done for tomorrow's class will have to be enough ( Read more... )

Oh, great pix - foggy days in festive cities are the BEST.
(We are fogless in Dallas, but we are supposed to have a hard freeze tonight.)

Oh, and, guess who just got back from choir rehearsal? (In which Melissa learned the UU version of Joy to the World....)

What is the shop that you don't dare go into with the tartans? I'll be in San Francisco this weekend, and I want to go! [grin]

I think the name is Wm. Glen and Sons? I'm not sure though, but I do know it's on Sutter coming up from New Montgomery, but before you hit Powell. Gorgeous isn't it? Oh and if you're in the mood for Irish baked goods, I have heard from a friend of a friend who is actually -from- Ireland, that swears by John Campbell's Irish Bakery and that's at 5625 Geary Blvd. I think there's a pub and restaurant associated with it as well. It's a bit far from the Union square area, but if you're in the mood to get your heritage attack fix, I hear he's a good way to go. ;)

In that store did you notice the beautiful aryan sweaters hanging along the wall? *whine* It's the one sweater that actually makes my chest make sense. Soren says they're "dead sexy" to the point where I have to either keep him 3 feet away from me or he's in "cuddle me, mah braw bonnie lad" mode. *laugh* SO much want...

Let me know how it goes if you do go there, I'd love to get a firsthand view of the offerings.

The Macy's video made my girl grin. We can't wait to see the at-night version! I love love the little jewelbox window series.
