Different people are so scary and threatening!

Seriously, these people must live in a state of mortal panic 24/7. How do they even find the energy to constantly fear all the things they fear?

Totally! This. I so wouldn't want to live within 500 miles of their paranoid and hateful inner worlds.

Democrats vote their hopes,
Republicans vote their fears.

This is a perfect example of that truism.

When I tore them a new asshole in the email I sent, and when I'm talking to the station manager tomorrow, I will be mentioning that transgendered people are an extremely vulnerable population already to be hucking stones at and urging violence towards. When GLBT youth are already 3 times as likely as other teens to kill themselves and 58% of all transgendered people report having made at least one serious suicide attempt in their lives? When transpeople are getting MURDERED so commonly in this country?? The kind of shit they pulled gets real unfunny REAL fast, especially when we're talking about directing this bigotry and abuse at CHILDREN.
That's the part that really got my back up. Adults are at least somewhat able to protect themselves but you just do NOT target children this way. Absolutely NOT.

I wonder if some kind of suite against States and Williams is viable, or against the radio station. In this climate a suit against the business would fail, but they'd have to devote resources to defend themselves, and that might head off similar broadcasts.

I do beleive in free speech, and I wouldn't want to silence them. They self-document well. Freedom of speech never meant freedom from consequences, however.

Even though I'm about as straight as a board and like my pants (hehe), it makes me want to wear a dress, just to piss people like him off.

Evil. How can anyone advocate violence against children of any type on-air and still have a job? I'm gobsmacked that these hate-mongers have a place in any media, and I hope they get what is coming to them, in more ways than one.
