This comes up as a result of a discussion in a friends' LJ re: the relative uselessness of either Billboard's or iTunes' "Top 100" for a lot of us these days. I spend a pretty scary amount of my free time casting around on the web and various non-mainstream music venues looking for music that doesn't suck since so much of what I hear on the radio

Could I make a request for labeling videos? I have Flashblocker to avoid auto-plays and overloading my browser, and sometimes I'm selective about what I load.
You should read jwz's LJ if you don't already - he no longer does mix tapes but he is very on top of new music (helps that he owns a nightclub). He sometimes does new music posts, and his 2009 recommendations are posted here.
