The heavy snow warning appears totally unjustified in our area - a conservative estimate wodul say we have about 1cm overnight :-( Very disappointing, since the local forecasters had been predicting a snowpocalypse.
By pure chance, it's been one day short of a year since my last post on LJ. In honour of this event, and to keep the journal live for another year, here's a post for little (but bigger than originally thought) Pluto.
in the interestes of posting at least once a year - it's exactly one month short of the a year since our move into the new house. Kids are in year 3 at uni, work is ok, marriage has survived the changes and the daily commute, and the cats have settled - well, one of them has, anyway.
The 5.8 hit while I was at work (two storey building) and we tidied up and got out while the next smaller one hit (5.3), rode out the next two (4.6, 4.2) in the car - trying to drive an unfamiliar automatic when used to a manual is almost more nervewracking than the earthquakes! - and at the boss' place for post-eq / pre-xmas drinks when the next

Right, when we had the first earthquake back in September 2010, we didn't know it was the first of a trilogy. Following Feb 2011's massive sequel, and (hopefully) the final installment of June 13, we now have snow. And lots of it.
