The MPA launched a legal attack on all instrument tableture websites, including my favorite website of ALL time, mxtabs.net! The formerly well-known and popular site is now operated by Sputnik Music, who have turned it into a mere forum, where users can post reviews on music albums. Yes, I can see it now, one monkey talking to the other monkey with a smoking jacket on and a pipe in his mouth, legs crossed, "Reginald, you'll not believe it, I was watching the discovery channel and they're saying that humans are the highest form of evolution." - "Oh dear God! You musn't be serious!" - "Unfortunately I am, the entire world's gone mad...the idea...it's absurd, preposterous really."

I realize that this is possibly the corniest thing I've ever typed out, read twice, and STILL decided to post.

I couldn't agree with you more Phil, this guitar tab stuff is severly dissappointing to me as well. After mxtabs was shut down I started using ultimate-guitar.com, i was even on it last night. But I just checked and it looks like that has been shut down as well.
