ok Mal and Jen are home and the girls are much happier for it. it doesn't feel like Christmas eve. I have been working on the chairs most of the day, stopped to make a pot of stew, on yea its good. just came home to check email and such, and then I will go back over to Mel and Jen's to hang with the cats. I got some work on the chairs still have one lap joint to make and some gluing, sanding, ok more to go but they are starting to look like chairs. other than that not much going on.

ok so work was weird. we went to the job that never ends until we had to go make an emergency call to a building that isn't occupied. we were sent over there to hook up the Air Conditioners (hello not hot) some emergency. real happy with how the chairs are coming, I managed to re-cut the leg that had warped, and cracked and got it fitted in last eve. now I am ready to glue at least the base of the charis the arms should be relatively easy at this point. sweeeeeeet. then I can finish sand and stain, only need to get the backs and cushions from Sean. the other one is ( Read more... )

ok ready for bed. the girls have eaten. the burgers at the park were good, and the hugs, scritches, and even a few smack were very nice. the world seams a little less bleak now. off to bed.
