why is it always the bees with me!? i dont know but let me tell you about the very first stop i made for gas on this trip. i am in the middle of the desert somewhere and my gas light comes on. so i pull off and stop for gas. i figure while im there i might as well get rid of the trash in my car too huh? so i bag it up and right before i get out if

I think bees are ok, but there are other bugs that I'm irrationally afraid of.

I'm w/ ya about the 1/3 being rational and the other 2/3 going, "AAAAH! Run for your life!"

a bee with good intentions is ok from a distance. we need bees but a whole swarm bent on killing me m not so good with. hahaha

Why didn't you go to another gas station? If I were me, I would have left when there were bees on the gas pump. If I were you, I would have left when I couldn't get out of the car because of the 1st bee. I would at least have driven to a part of the same gas station where there wasn't a bee.

alright mrs. judgy pants. for the same reason you will pick green onions out of fried rice instead of just not ordering it ;) and i DID go to a part of the statrion that didnt have a bee! they FOLLOWED me! thats the point. they are smart and divious. hahaha
