Oh, excellent wish list!!!

Linus donates to kids camps, in fact it's a big part of what we do every year. There is one for kids with cancer, a bereavement camp for kids that have lost a sibling or parent and several other small camps. I love making camp blankets because I know it's such a special time for those kids and it's something tangible that will help them remember their camp experience!

Fabric for paper piecing, I can't imagine why you'd want that, lol!

oh that is fantastic! i had no idea. i guess i havent studied the LC website closely enough. but for me its just another reason to love linus.

hahaha. i feel like i have to go BUY fabric eveytime i want to paperpiece and it would be nice to have a little collection of scraps like you do, at my disposal. :0) i am going to have a little plastic drawer system i think in my new sewing room for keeping scraps (which i have never done before). you orginise yours by the size of the scrap right? ill go look through your lj for the post where you talked about how you store right now :0)

I organize all my paper piecing fabric by color. Anything bigger than a few inches goes with it's fellow colors and tiny pieces (just a couple of inches) go in a giant bin that I root around in whenever I can't find what I need in the drawers.

Linus finally finally has a blog, so we'll be sharing more about what we actually do and not just how we do it. I'm sure there'll be info about camps the closer we get to next summer!

Okay you are mean. I totally cried watching that video. There's a Celiac Camp for kids that I support and it sounds so similar.... kids just wanting to be normal. Why is the world so cruel?
