check my new icon! rad huh? i got it from this lj user rory_tutorgirl. anyhow onto the question. hey why did that typing just go bold?....i dont know but i cant turn it normal again....oh well thats not the question...what do you call that little thingys a at the bottom of posts that say you are "happy" "tired"etc.? hey my typing went back to

Are you thinking of mood themes? The little pictures next to the mood words like 'surprised or excited or tired?

If so I've got a little tutorial on how to use them built into my mood themes. I can yoink them out, or you can download the whole kit and kaboodle from here: http://caitirin.livejournal.com/1466462.html

yes mood themes! thats what i want. ok i downloaded your info but it looks like i cant do this unless i have a paid account. is this correct?

As far as I know, but I seem to remember somewhere that unpaid users could use it if someone else had shared it... If I can upload it and let you use it I can do that :) I'll look into it after I get back from my meeting!

If you go to your profile page look for the bar across the top that shows various tags like, Home, Journal, Profile, Friends, Communities, etc. Click on the JOURNAL one. In the drop down menu click on CUSTOMIZE JOURNAL STYLE. There should be a another drop down menu under the MOOD THEMES. You can change your settings there to get little happy faces at the bottom of your posts. =) Oh and before you choose from the menu there's a linked preview all mood themes which will let you look at all the choices before hand.

cool thanks! it looks like if i want custom ones i have to have a paid account. dang. well im not paying for an account yet but i suppose its only a matter of time. i said "im never paying for photo hosting!" and now i have a paid account at flicker hahaha

Do you use the rich text editor? I've heard it can cause formatting problems from time to time.

i do. i dont really understand that html thingamajigger. i just deal with the wierdness that arrises because of lj. i gave up on trying to format anything properly here after they upgraded about a year ago. thats when it all went straight to hell. my blogger blog is my pretty one. i just post over here too cause i think its more convienient for most of my friends. :0D yall can deal with ugly blog right? hahahaha
