i am a waitress. you all know that. i dont mind it but its not my favorite job either. im not terrible at it but im not great at it either. i am competent. i am friendly and given the opportunity i will float you out of the building cause i cam GOOD at refils. here is what is not ok. being a drunken biligerent ass hole to your waitress all night

Sorry :( Your manager should have talked to them, but since he was new and it was busy,... Good for you keeping your cool, karma will work it all out in the long run. (I know, me and my karma.) And sobbing afterwards is totally acceptable. Sorry about your tip.

Long ago, in a state far far away (New Mexico) I was the night hostess/manager in a pancake house. It was pretty good, until the bars closed. Luckily I had a lot of regulars who liked me and would get involved if there was a problem. And a really scary looking, but actually nice as could be, biker cook, who would come out and stare at people. Scars and tats can be very calming.
