There's a question in the Talmud - Is it better to learn, or to act? The answer given is that it is better to learn, because learning leads to action.
In truth it's all about action, but generally we can't just mindlessly do things. The fact that you feel happy and good about yourself after doing something that just happens to be a mitzvah says a lot.

Actually, this is frustrating and upsetting me because now I am being attacked for now having to do something that I was told to do and not something I wanted to do for myself.
Guess you can't win 'em all... Have a good Shabbos.

It was not that I didn't like the answer.
I just felt that people were basically giving me an answer and then saying 'GO DO THIS NOW'... there was a bit of militant-isms in the thread. "What's the big deal? Just go do this!" and as I said, I do not like feeling in anyway forced to practice a certain way.
Whether or not I sell my chametz is up to me. The only question that should have been answering was the one that dream_king answered VERY succinctly. "Sell your chametz and then it's ok"... not "well, no, and just go to this website, fill some information and let's get everyone's panties in a twist over it ( ... )
