I was about to write up a post just like this myself. I'm also sad to see LJ becoming less used--Tumblr's been my preferred means of updating lately, but I can't deny that LJ has vastly superior commenting and archiving systems. I've had too many good memories here to abandon it altogether, too.

I'm in the same boat. The communities I'm in have kept a steady pace, but it's rare for me to see a personal journal post on my flist.

I have been hanging out on Facebook a lot lately. I still like LJ, I just don't feel like people care much on here anymore. So what's the point in typing up huge entries if no one reads it/cares? =/

i still use it! when i'm not omfg busy. which is mostly now. but it is sad to see my fl have one maybe 2 new posts in the morning, and one is a webcomic rss feed T_T

I know exactly what you mean. I decided to try joining that elite Harry Potter community. (Sorting Elite is accepting apps) hoping that would get me into it more.

It's like I use twitter more now.
