Sorry I haven't posted in so long. I've had a lot going on lately and what little time I've spent online has been on Tumblr. But anywho, here's another What I've Been Up To Post:

I also loved Norma's character quest, but Jay was my favorite. Chloe was probably my third. They were all pretty good but those three were the most interesting IMO. And Moses, well, that was just sad to see his friend go like that.

So, did you get the 'Solon molested Jay in the past' vibe too?

Oh yeah, definitely. All those comments about Jay being cute or Jay's "cute voice" and trying to force Jay to say he loved him and... ugh. In the context of abuse, it was incredibly disturbing. Solon was a disgusting person, and it was so unsettling because he acted like a real abuser would (isolating Jay, emotionally manipulating him, making him think no one loved him, making Jay feel responsible for his own abuse, etc.). I honestly can't remember the last time I was that genuinely disturbed by a video game. So happy that Jay was able to find happiness.

Also, I don't believe for a second that Jay's real parents abandoned him. It's a common story that ninjas stole babies to raise them as ninjas and it fits with Jay's story too well. Jay's need for a family was so sad but sweet (when he ran over to hug Grune at the end, I literally cried, because it was so clear that he wanted a mother figure in his life). I cried a lot during his own quest too.
