My whole entire take on it is that the supreme court declared gay marriages legal in the US, therefore denying anyone a marriage license FOR ANY REASON is illegal. This includes exercising your religious freedom.

If your religion is more important than doing your job, you need a new job. You have every right to your opinions and beliefs, and no right to your job. Most states are At Will anyway. If she isn't doing the job, she doesn't get to keep it. End of story.

Arch darlin!!! Miss your wit... though I'm not stating only this post... it was all the post i recall from the past in my livejournal days. I wish I knew how you managed to stay true to lj and avoid the fb web that caught the rest of us.... I despise fb... but still I log into the drama.... I wish the majority of my friends stayed here too... it was good fun and simple here... somehow the new people you met here were good people. Don't get me wrong, I'm over at FB, too, and not posting here like I want to. Seems like no one is here hardly, and if I wanna keep up with people, I gotta be there, but I dislike it for way too many reasons. LJ will always be my preferred format, and I'm really trying to be here more.
