"No more adventures, Shawn."
"Dude, come on. What are the chances you're going to run into anyone you know?"
"I am not wearing that dress."
"But it's your color!"
Gus frowned at the shiny, bright salmon fabric. "That isn't anyone's color."
"Such modesty. You could make this look good."
"True." Gus nodded. "But I'm not still not going to wear it. Why don't you ask your new partner?"
"Who-what? This isn't about Juliet, is it? You're not still jealous?"
"Of course I'm not jealous."
"You so definitely are."
"Am not."
"I told you, you're my best friend. Always, man."
"And your best friend wears pants. Pants, Shawn."
"What if we were dating? Would you wear it then?"
"You did not just go there."
"You know me better than that."
Gus groaned. "You did just go there. Fine, I'll wear the dress. Can we change the subject now please?"
"Hear me out."
"No, I will not. What's the matter - did she turn you down? Again? Funny how you don't mention these things."
"That's harsh. Especially considering you were the one who went and got married and didn't say anything."
"That wasn't about you, Shawn."
"Yeah, well, it still hurt."
"Turn around so I can put this stupid dress on."
"Have I ever told you how sexy you are when you're petulant?" Shawn said over the sound of Gus' pants falling to the floor.
"Be quiet and zip me up," Gus answered when the rustling stopped, turning his back to Shawn expectantly.
"Wow. That really isn't your color. Hold still - breathe in - there. You look beautiful."
"Of course I do. Now, let's go and get this over with, Shawn."
"Go? What do you mean go? Oh, did I forget to mention that the dance isn't until next week?"
