I chose the "feeling something else" option. As long as said angel was completely up front about the risks--IOW, I get to make an informed decision about it--I'd be okay with the sex and violence. If not, I'd be damn upset.
Except--I would need them to specify the details. After that it's really a question of faith and trust on my part. Whether I believe my goals are congruent with the angels', whether I believe the ends justify the means.
OTOH if, like Zachariah, they end up obtaining my consent through coercion or trickery (which clearly in this series they are not above doing)--damn right I would be upset afterwards.
I think my major issue with angels and consent is that it's only a formality. They really only have to get you to say "yes" - you don't really have to welcome them in, or fully comprehend what you're agreeing to. My understanding is that uninformed consent, given under duress - which is which is effectively no consent at all - would suffice, so long as you said the magic words.
I just don't really believe that being an angelic vessel would feel different from being the victim of a demon possession in any way that matters. (Not that I'm complaining - the closer angels are to demons, the happier a geek I am!)
Yeah, this, completely. I'm not convinced they understand the difference (which doesn't make it right). It's not as much about what's being done in the meatsuit as being there in the first place.

I put 'something else' because I agree with what topaz_eyes said about knowing about the risks up front. On the other hand, I also agree with apgeeksout about it probably not being all that different from demon possession. I think it's to do with whether or not you can predict what this individual has in mind (actual trust issues not withstanding, because I don't think a being like that would feel your trust was that imperative to their operation).
Also, I think I've only met Azazel and Meg so far, so I can't say! D: (I did write a pornlet drabble though, because my flist is mean and I'm easy. I still claim to not actually be suckered in entirely.)
The upfront information I left out purposely. I got the wholly subjective impression that Jimmy (Cas' vessel) had sort-of known the risks, but that he was far too blinded by religion to truly understand them, the first time around. The second was pure coercion IMO, even though Castiel probably wouldn't have understood it as such.

Ah, I see I'll have to get further on before I can get into the nuances of the question, but I understand what you're saying.
