When I look at pictures of myself from high school and early college, I don't even know who that person is. She's so thin and I was so not. Heh. I think I've turned my dysmorphic body image into a self-fulfilling prophesy.

Same here. :) I had a gorgeous body, but if you'd asked me, I would've said my hips were too wide and my chest too flat. Now I could look at the weight I've gained (which is a lot) and the stretch marks and wrinkles, but I don't think so. Too much time lost already.

To think the general idea applies just as much today as it did then - it's a very cheering thought. You're lovely, sweetie. Would be a very boring world if we all looked like Iman.
