so polish smoked sprats, edible but a bit too crunchy with the bones, I think its the heads which do it for me, so, interesting but I don't think I will venture another 50p on a packet of them,
though the ruski perogi and potato dumplings go well with some pickled beetroot and beetroot liquid from the jar, anyways I have food for a few days, the cheaper end stuff from lidl being polish for some reason, a choice between a pack of 20 perogi/ potato dumplings for a pound, which means edible food for a while, though they don't always have them in, and have rebranded it as ''taste of poland'' explore polish food'' for some reason, there is much stranger in lidls, such as an ostrich leg or moose steaks, both of which are too expensive for local tastes and pockets.
meanwhile, looking at phd's again, a couple of possibilities, will think about, anyways another day and I have potato dumplings with beetroot to munch later. maybe next week I will get the suspicious horses willy or as most people call it the big amusing looking garlic sausage, good to munch and works well with pasta sauce.
so pan European food stuffs mixed with whatever spices are in the cupboard work, the thai packet of crispy duck mix could have, but didn't work well on crispy pork, will see if next time I am rich (like a tenner or so) I can get some tianmianjian or peking sauce, anyways, another day and once more I ponder food.
